AI & Health-Data Disclosure

Last updated: June 8, 2026

We want to be upfront about how artificial intelligence is used in your coaching messages, what information it can see, and how we keep you safe. This page is written in plain language and complements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How the assistant works

When you message your Creator, an AI model drafts a suggested reply in the Creator’s voice based on the Creator’s own materials. In the current beta, a human Creator reviews and can edit every draft before it is sent to you — nothing is sent automatically. In the future, some routine replies may be sent automatically once a Creator has earned that setting, but safety-sensitive messages always go to a human first (see below).

This is not medical advice

Messages — whether AI-drafted or written by the Creator — are for general fitness guidance only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your health, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.

What information the AI sees

To draft a relevant reply, the AI may receive:

  • The message you sent.
  • Your active program and a short snapshot of your recently logged sets (so it can reference your real training).
  • The Creator’s own coaching materials (their philosophy, sample replies, and FAQs).

The AI is instructed not to invent numbers about your training and to rely only on the data above.

Which providers process the data

Drafting currently uses Anthropic (Claude) and, for some non-sensitive parsing, Google (Gemini). We use these under commercial terms that do not allow your data to be used to train their models. Your data is sent only to generate the draft.

Safety: injury and medical messages

If a message mentions things like pain, injury, or other medical or safety concerns — or asks for a form check via photo/video — it is automatically flagged and routed to your Creator for human review; it is never auto-answered. The assistant is designed to defer to your Creator on anything medical rather than give advice.

Human oversight

Creators have a full record of the messages in your conversation, including the original AI draft versus what was actually sent, and can roll back a message. This keeps a human accountable for what you receive.

Your choices

  • You don’t have to share sensitive medical details in chat; share only what you’re comfortable with.
  • For medical concerns, contact a healthcare professional directly.
  • You can request access to or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
